Creative nature journaling in mixed media with local artist Lorna Page.

Come along and enjoy an art class in the beautiful surroundings of Berkeley Castle Kitchen Garden.

Create a journal page worthy of framing! We will immerse ourselves in nature and mindfulness then use our senses to help us create art individual to each participant. Techniques will cover composition, painting with walnut ink, line drawing, sketching ageing paper, adding found elements and using script to add personality to your piece.

Drawing experience is not necessary and the class is suitable for all abilities. Templates will be available and guidance on all techniques will be available throughout.

All materials included… watercolour paper, mount board, inks, pressed flowers, ephemera, etc.

Finished size 45cm x 34cm .

Workshop duration is 2 hours.

10am -12pm & 2pm - 4pm
