A Unique Tour with Charles Berkeley

Make your visit special; have your own tour of the Castle with Charles Berkeley and let him lead you on a unique tour around his historic home.

Tours of the Castle by Charles Berkeley (heir to Berkeley Castle), for a group of up to 30 people (maximum), can be arranged at an additional cost of £100 for the group, subject to Mr Berkeley’s availability.

General Information

Berkeley Castle welcomes groups of all ages and nationalities.

There are discounted rates available for groups of 25 or more.

A guided tour with one of our experienced Castle Guides is included within the admission charge. Groups will usually be split into groups of 25-30 visitors per guide.

Pre-booking is required for groups to ensure that every visit is enjoyable as possible.

Refreshments

The Yurt Restaurant, located in a Yurt, serves a variety of snacks and light lunches, morning coffee and afternoon tea and homemade cakes.

We encourage groups to pre-book, our Yurt Restaurant Manager can contact you direct to discuss your requirements.

If you do not want to pre-book, but would rather your group had the choice from the regular Yurt Restaurant menu, this can easily be arranged, but please let us know in advance.

Many items from the menu are made to order and we do require advance notice of the requirements of your group.

Schools & Educational Visits

Berkeley Castle contains a wealth of information for all types of learning outside of the classroom. Whether the subject is castles, the monarchy, architecture, family history, art history, fabrics, furniture or silver – just let us know.

A discounted rate is available for groups of 25 or more. For every 10 children 1 adult is admitted free of charge, and any additional adults are also charged at the adult or concession discounted group rate
